North Wales Golf Course and Driving Range

Meet the team….

Steve & Steve Snr-

This father and son pairing have been running the North Wales Golf Course & Driving Range since 2003 and are constantly looking at new ways to improve and maintain their position as North Wales’ Premier Practice facility, whilst also welcoming families and casual golfers alike.

Although not a golfer, Steve Snr is a keen squash player and enjoys all aspects of country life.

Steve is attempting to become a single figure handicap golfer and is also a fan of anything to do with bikes.

Sue is almost part of the furniture at the range, having been here since it’s opening in 1988, she’s also proud to say she was the second ever customer! Sue is a keen golfer who used to be a single figure handicapper and has also held the position of Ladies Captain at Denbigh Golf Club.

Peter is the head greenkeeper and has over 20 years experience. With the course under his watchful eye, it’s constantly being raised to the next level, with greens that could put a lot of 18 hole members courses to shame!

Leah is our most recent addition to the range but has fitted in quickly and is already a favourite of our regulars.

Jason ‘Shuff’ Shufflebotham joined the range mid 2016 and is the resident Professional.  Shuff has a great golfing CV and played to an extremely high level in the amateur ranks, culminating in a scholarship at The University of Birmingham, Alabama- rubbing shoulders with the likes of Bryson Dechambeau and Graeme Macdowell. You can find out more about him here.

The Shop

The shop at Llannerch Park has a selection of golf clubs and equipment on display, with both the latest TaylorMade and BenRoss equipment in stock and available for you to try.

The Lounge

We have a Coffee Lounge where you can take a break after nine holes or hitting those golf balls on the range, or whilst discussing the finer points of your golf swing with Shuff.

A full range of light refreshments are served all day, which include Rijo coffees, snacks and cold drinks.
